Ableton Lives built in Operator synth started out as a fairly basic 4 operator FM synth, with basic subtractive synthesis.

More recently however, the addition of additive synthesis waveforms and a few extra filters has transformed Operator into a very convenient semi-modular hybrid monster synth.

Irish muso and Ableton fanatic Condra has shared 20 of his favorite Operator bass patches with us. Click here to download the zip file.

Installation is simple, Simply drag the patches into Live and save your favorites, or move the whole folder to Application Support/Ableton/Library/Presets/Instruments/Operator (Mac) or Documents\Ableton\User Library\ (Windows)
