This is the first in a series of FM multi-sample packs from Audiobombs.com . We've scoured through hundreds of 4-OP FM patches with our trusty TX81Z and we're hand picking some of our favorites to sample and make available as free Ableton instruments. This Ableton live set includes three classic FM sounds sampled directly from the Yamaha TX81Z. Each Ableton instrument includes several zones (and velocity layers when the patch utilized it) for a realistic reproduction of the original hardware.

The patches sampled were:

Vibe 2: As heard in many classic house tunes as well as many modern deep house tracks. You should recognize this one instantly.

Club 2: Great patch for some classic chords. It can also be used as a house bass in a pinch.

Wood Piano: Began it's life as a cheesy piano patch, but you'll probably recognize it as a bass. The included instrument for this patch is set to monophonic, so be sure to up the voices if you need to make it polyphonic.

There are two sets included in the download: One for people who own Sampler, and one for those only have Simpler.
